Ben Tee is a Corbett (901m) north of Sron a'Choire Ghairbh, on the northwest side of Loch Lochy. It can be accessed either from Kilfinnan or from the Forestry Commission land at Whitebridge in Glengarry.
The route from Glengarry begins at the Allt na Cailliche walk carpark in Glengarry forest.
![]() Turn left out of the carpark and follow the yellow waymarked trail ('Allt na Cailliche long route') west along the bank of the Allt na Cailliche and then uphill alongside its attractive waterfalls. The path emerges above the waterfalls onto a forest track - leave the waymarked trail now and turn right here. Follow it for about half a mile then turn off on to a small, muddy vehicle track zigzagging up to the right through an area of recently cleared forest. After the cleared section this path runs through forest again, running high above the Allt na Cailliche again after a mile, then climbs out of the trees on to the open shoulder of Ben Tee. Bear WSW and it is about one and a half to miles to the summit.
Alternatively, the following route can be taken, starting from Kilfinnan by Loch Lochy.
Park at the end of the sealed road to Kilfinnan, just before the Kilfinnan Burn. From here head straight up the hill in a NNWesterly direction until a track leading NW along the side of the hill is reached. Follow this track; after about half a mile it crosses a deer fence at a stile high above Kilfinnan Falls and then turns west towards Coire Glas. Leave the track here and head NW again over rough ground to Ben Tee's east ridge, then climb this to gain the summit.
(One-way this is about 3 miles, 850 m ascent - takes about two and a half hours).
